Summer Extern - Kent County Prosecutor’s Office (2013-2014) Juvenile criminal court extern. Negotiated and accepted plea deals including misdemeanor and felonies, attended and argued juvenile delinquency Hearing, and conducted a mental incompetency trial.
Summer Extern - 17th Judicial Circuit Court (2013) Clerked for the Honorable George Quist. Drafted legal memoranda, reviewed and researched pending family law motions, and edited and reviewed pending orders and judgments.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Jon moved to Michigan in 2005 to attend Western Michigan University. Jon and his wife decided to move to Traverse City, where she was born, to raise their two daughters.
Sterling Law areas of practice include specialization in advocacy and divorce tailored for men. Sterling Law has a strong and successful history of representing both women and men in all areas of family law, including divorce.
