History
Sterling Law Office first opened its doors in March 2001 in Empire Michigan.
Lea Ann Sterling established Sterling Law Office initially in partnership with
renowned civil rights attorney, Dean Robb. Mr. Robb subsequently moved
his primary office to his hometown of Suttons Bay and remained a mentor
to Sterling Law Office for many years until his passing in 2018.

Sterling Law Office has since grown to include several attorneys, a legal
assistant, and bookkeeper - office manager. Geographically, the firm’s
caseload was initially drawn throughout Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Benzie,
and Wexford counties. However, demand has expanded services throughout
much of the Northern Michigan Region above and below the bridge.

The main office is located on Grand Traverse Bay in Traverse City and gives
clients a warm, welcoming, comfortable setting in which to meet and
collaborate with the very friendly and caring staff. Clients will find the same
warm and friendly welcome at the northeast Michigan office in downtown Gaylord.
Sterling Law Office areas of practice include specialization in advocacy and divorce tailored for men. Sterling Law Office has a strong and successful history of representing both women and men in all areas of family law, including divorce.
